Gandhi Jayanti 2025 Speech in Hindi: Every year on 2 October, Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated all over India, because Mahatma Gandhi was born 156 years ago on this day. People know Gandhiji as ‘Bapu’ and ‘Father of the Nation’. He was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. Not only India, but all over the world, this day is celebrated as ‘International Non -Violence Day’. It was due to Gandhiji’s thinking of non -violence that the United Nations dedicated this day especially to non -violence.

In 1944, Subhash Chandra Bose named Gandhi for the first time as the Father of the Nation. Gandhiji played an important role in India’s independence in peaceful ways. But on 30 January 1948, Nathuram Godse murdered him due to disagreement with his ideology. Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti 2025: Good morning to all. Today, on 2 October, we are all gathered on this auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti so that we can pay tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. This day is celebrated not only in India, but also in many countries of the world as Gandhi Jayanti.

Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. Gandhiji’s full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was born in an ordinary family, but influenced not only India but the whole world with his great ideas and actions.

Gandhiji always considered truth and non -violence as his strength. He believed – “You become the change that you want to see in the world.” He led many historical movements such as Dandi Yatra, Non -Cooperation Movement, Salt Satyagraha and Quit India Movement, which became the foundation of India’s independence.

Gandhiji was not limited to India only. With their thoughts Martin Luther King Junior And great international leaders like Nelson Mandela were also inspired. The United Nations also honors 2 October on 2 October as ‘International Non -Violence Day’.

Gandhiji studied law in London and obtained a barrister degree. But he left the comfortable life and dedicated himself to the service. He led several movements against the British government – such as Champaran satyagrahaNon -cooperation movement, Dandi tripBattle of rights of Dalits and Quit India Movement. These movements shook the foundation of the British rule. This is the reason that he is still known as the Father of the Nation in India.
