When the plane fell into the Potomac River after hitting the helicopter. Reagan Airport wrote on the social media platform X that all the flights have been stopped at the moment.
American Airlines confirmed that the aircraft had 60 passengers and 4 crew members. Airlines said, “We are worried about them all. We are in constant contact with the officials. Helping the emergency team. ”
The emergency rescue team of Washington DC has reached Reagan National Airport. Many ambulances and fire extinguishers can be seen there.
According to the DC Fire and EMS Department, the aircraft fell into the Potomac River after hitting the helicopter. The department wrote on X that the firebots are searching the river.
