Local elections are likely to be held in late November or first week of December. The final voter list will be published on 25th of this month. After that, the State Election Commission is preparing to announce the poll date.


On December 21, the new governing bodies of the local bodies should take office. Voting and counting should be completed before that. Taking this into account, the commission is planning to hold the polls by the end of November or the beginning of December. We can expect the result announcement before December 15.
