Salman Khan’s upcoming film Alexander is one of this year’s much awaited films. The film Alexander will be released in theaters on March 30. Meanwhile, before the release of the film, Director A. R. Murugadas talked about working with security on the set.
Director said about Salman’s security
In a conversation with Times of India, A. R. Murugadas told about the shooting process of the film. He said that the actor’s security was kept on the set of the film. There was always high security at the time of shooting.
Shared experience to work with Salman Khan
A. R. Murugadas and Salman Khan have worked together for the first time. The director also spoke on the experience of working with Salman. He said, ‘Salman sir is completely different. We often had to shoot scenes with 10,000 to 20,000 people on the set. High security and coordination were needed to manage such a large crowd. Our schedule was very demanding. We had to take care of many things due to fear of threats.
‘Our biological bicycle was completely damaged.’
The director further said, ‘The security was tight due to fear of threats. All the people and artists present on the set were checked. Everyone’s checking used to take 2 to 3 hours every day. We used to take all day to come and go. We often started shooting late and finished in the early hours of the morning. Our biological bicycle was completely damaged. But once we molded ourselves, it became a routine and there was a lot of positive energy on the set.
Salman Khan has received many threats
Salman Khan was receiving many threats for a long time. Due to which strict security arrangements were made around them. On November 5 last year, the Mumbai Police received a threatening message against Salman Khan from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. It was written in it that either the actor will have to apologize or he would have to pay 5 crore rupees to stay alive.
Tamil and Hindi have directed many films A. R. Murugadas
A. R. Murugadas is known for the direction of Tamil and Hindi films like Ghajini, Thuppaki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never of Duty and Sarkar. Apart from Salman in the film Sikander, Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandana will also be seen in the lead roles. The story of the film has not been revealed. Alexander is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
