Ugo Humbert vs Fabian Marozsan prediction

Despite still struggling with a hand injury, Ugo Humbert recovered from losing the first set to beat Nicolas Jarry 4-6 6-3 6-2. Jarry is in dreadful form at the minute, but Humbert deserves credit for getting past the disappointment of the early part of the match to win despite visibly still being in discomfort.

He will take on Fabian Marozsan in the next round as he defeated teenage wildcard Justin Engel 6-4 6-1. The Hungarian did not lose serve throughout the match and won 85% of his first serve points. Marozsan wasn’t tested a great deal and knows he will need to see an improvement in his level when he takes on the Frenchman.

Humbert leads the head-to-head 2-0, which includes straight sets win on clay at the Paris Olympics last summer. Despite not being at his best physically and the slowness of the courts not necessarily being suited to his game, we still think Humbert has the versatility to defeat Marozsan and make it through.

Ugo Humbert vs Fabian Marozsan tip: Ugo Humbert to win 2-1
