Heavy Rain Alert: In 23 states of the country, once again the phase of thunderstorms and fierce rain is going to start. IMD has issued an alert. Weather will change due to western disturbance
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said in its latest update that a new western disturbance has become active. Due to this, the weather patterns will change in more than half of the states of India. There will be strong wind with torrential rain. Western disturbances will show the most impact in the north-west and northeastern areas of the country. In many parts of the country including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, there may be thunderstorms with heavy rains.
Seasonal system across the country
According to IMD, a cyclonic circulation remains over Northern Bangladesh and Northeast Assam. Apart from this, a north-south trough line remains from Central Chhattisgarh to the Gulf of Mannar. Due to this, thunderstorms will run in Northeast India with thunderstorms for the next 5 days. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the forecast of fierce rain. Many other states including Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim may rain. The wind can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km to 60 km per hour.
Fierce rain and thunderstorm for next 5 days
- In Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, from April 25 to 27, there will be fierce clouds.
- Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura are expected to rain on April 25 to 26.
- The process of rain may continue in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.
- Along with the rain, the wind will also run at a speed of 50 to 60 kmph in these states.
Warning of thunderstorms from 26 to 29 April
- From 26 to 29 April, a new phase of rain is going to start in the eastern parts of India with thunderstorms, electricity, hailstorm and strong/stormy winds. There is a possibility of severe rain and diligence in many states.
- There is a possibility of thunderstorm and severe rains in the border areas of 26 to 29 eastern India and eastern Uttar Pradesh. During this time, air can be blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 km to 60 km per hour.
- During 26 to 28 April, in Chhattisgarh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 26, Bihar-Jharkhand on 27, on April 27 and 28, electricity, clouds and rain activity will be fast in many areas of Odisha.
- On 27 April, internal Karnataka, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Meghalaya, Jharkhand, on 27th and 28th, are likely to run at a speed of 50 to 60 km per hour in Bihar, Chhattisgarh during Ganga West Bengal, Odisha, Vidarbha, 26 to 28 April.
- Heavy rains may occur at some places in Meghalaya on 26 and 27 April.
Heat Wave Alert in many states
Many states of the country are getting scorching heat. In many states including Delhi, the mercury has crossed 42 degrees Celsius. Many states including Delhi, UP Rajasthan to Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, Haryana, Punjab are in the grip of scorching heat. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding heat. According to IMD, there is a possibility of scorching heat and heat in many states of Central, North-West, Eastern India and North India for the next few days. The Meteorological Department estimates that the maximum temperature of many states will increase in the next 3 days. In North, Eastern and Central India, temperature can increase by two to four degrees. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert of the heat wave.
