Lakhisarai, Hindustan Representative. On Thursday, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad District Unit organized a mehndi competition among the students on the foundation day of the council at the local Arolal College of the city. 10 participants were selected on the basis of performance among the 100 girl students involved in the mehndi competition organized under the chairmanship of District Convenor Manish Yaduvanshi. The participant who got the first place was given three thousand, two thousand to the second contestant and one thousand rupees to the third participant was given a prize of cash. While the other seven participants were honored with attractive bags. Inaugurated ABBP’s province student head Monalisha Ghosh, Prof. Sunita Kumari, Chamber of Commerce Secretary Neeraj Kumar and BJP District President Deepak Kumar jointly did it.
During the program, the students were told about the establishment of Vidyarthi Parishad and the works of the council. The district convenor said that the council was the main objective to create a healthy competition atmosphere in the middle of the student sisters through henna competition. The purpose and functioning of the ABVP of all the students was also being made aware. Student head Monalisa said that the increasing Sagar of the students in the present program has made the dream of Swami Vivekananda come true. In which he used to say that reconstruction of the nation will be possible only when students along with students will be seen leading shoulder to shoulder. District President Deepak Kumar said that the Vidyarthi Parishad works to motivate and train the youth to participate in nation building with the responsibility of the society. Students belonging to the Vidyarthi Parishad are illuminating the name of their nation in different parts of the country and the world today. Seema Kumari, Pinky Kumari, Sarita Kumari, Priyanka Kumari, Radha Kumari, Vandana Kumari, Ankita Kumari, Simran Kumari and Akanksha Kumari were present on the occasion.
