India secured a draw in the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England in Manchester on Sunday.
Both teams got four points for the draw. India stayed in fourth spot in the World Test Championship 2025/27 standings, and moved its points tally from 12 to 16 points.
England, however, dropped one place to third with 26 points, a two-point penalty for slow over-rate at Lord’s leading to the fall.
Australia leads the pack, having claimed a 3-0 victory over West Indies in earlier in July. New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa are yet to play a game in this cycle.
Teams gets 12 points for winning a match, four for a draw and six each for a tie. The top two teams will qualify for the WTC final, which will take place at Lord’s in June 2027.
