Bhubaneswar: Odia music composer Abhijit Majumdar has been admitted to a hospital in Cuttack after he complained of some health complications.
As per sources, Abhijit is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in CDA area of Cuttack city.
The music composer was reported to be under medication for liver ailments for last several days.
However, he complained of certain other complications during music programmes for the Ganesh Puja festival August 27.
Abhijit was immediately rushed to a private medical facility in Cuttack. He was shifted to the CDA-based hospital on Sunday. He is being treated by a team of doctors, sources added.
Abhijit has composed more than 700 songs for music albums and Odia as well as Sambalpuri film industries. He is well-known for Odia films like Love Story, Sister Sridevi, Golmaal Love,
