Siddharth Malhotra and Jahnavi Kapoor’s film ‘Param Sundari’ is able to raise the audience more than expected in theaters. Before the commencement of advance booking, there was not much expectations from this film. No special atmosphere was seen for the film. But here a proven ancient rule of Bollywood is working- ‘song hit to picture hit’. With the teaser of ‘Param Sundari’, Sonu Nigam Ka Gaia ‘Pardesia’ had made a place in the playlist of people.
Any other promotional material of the film may not be impressed by the public as much as this song alone. ‘Param Sundari’ has now completed its first weekend in theaters. Weekend collection of ‘Param Sundari’
Earning around 5 crores was expected on the first day of ‘Param Sundari’. But statistics show what this film has presented a small surprise from the very first day. According to Caiknilk, the film surprised by earning 7.25 crores on the first day. Saturday, the box office brought more than 27% jump for ‘Param Sundari’ and the collection was Rs 9.25 crore.
The earnings increased once again on Sunday and the film collected around Rs 10.25 crore. With the earnings of three days, the weekend collection of ‘Param Sundari’ has reached close to Rs 27 crore. The film has been released on around 2700 screens, stating a report by Pinkvilla. According to this, this collection can be considered as good.
The ultimate beauty will prove to be big for Jahnavi
Came from ‘Dhadak’ in 2018 Jahnavi Kapoor The biggest weekend collection in his account came from his debut film. His film with Ishaan Khattar collected more than Rs 33 crore in the first weekend. Siddharth Malhotra’s record will be better
After the lockdown, Siddharth Malhotra’s films have been very bad. His films ‘Thank God’ (2022) and ‘Warrior’ (2024) were badly flops with Ajay Devgan. Siddharth’s only film which has earned more than 25 crores in the weekend after the ‘Kapoor and Sons’ (2016), which came 10 years ago, is his flop ‘Thank God’. His solo hit ‘Marjawan’, which came in 2019, also did not collect 25 crores in the first weekend.
‘Param Sundari’ is not doing a huge explosion at the box office, but till now it is moving in a safe way. If it continues to move in this way, then Siddharth can get the first successful film after the lockdown.
Can ‘Param Beautiful’ be successful?
Earning 27 crores in weekends has strengthened the chance of ‘Param Sundari’. Now this film has to stay with a minimum decline in working days starting on Monday. At present, it can be estimated that ‘Param Sundari’ can collect up to 35 crores in the first 7 days.
From Friday, two new films ‘Baaghi 4’ and ‘The Bengal Files’ will reach theaters. But the atmosphere of these two films is not becoming anything special. Whereas due to the musical romantic-comedy drama, the audience will continue to gather. After the second weekend is over, this film can collect close to 50 crores.
