JKSET 2025: Exam to be held on September 7 as scheduled; check revised centre and other key details here

The University of Jammu has confirmed that the Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test (JKSET) and Ladakh State Eligibility Test (LASET) 2025 will be conducted as per schedule on 7 September 2025 (Sunday). The exam will not be postponed, as clarified in the official notice released by the JKSET/LASET Agency.Candidates are advised to reach their allotted examination cities a day before the test to avoid last-minute inconvenience. The agency has also notified a change in one of the centres — the examination venue earlier allotted at Examination Hall (B & D), University of Jammu (near J&K Bank) has now been shifted to the PG Department of Law, University of Jammu.The JKSET Admit Card 2025, released on 1 September 2025, is now available for download on the official website jujkset.in. Candidates can access their hall tickets by logging in with the required credentials.

JKSET 2025 exam schedule

The state-level eligibility test will be conducted in two papers across 41 subjects.

  • Paper I: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Paper II: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

The examination will be held in offline mode at centres located in Jammu, Srinagar, and Leh.

JKSET 2025: Documents to carry to the centre

Candidates must bring the following on exam day:

  1. A printed copy of the JKSET Admit Card 2025 (preferably two copies)
  2. Two recent passport-size photographs
  3. One valid photo identification such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport

It is advised that candidates arrive at the venue well before the reporting time and carry only permitted items as per guidelines. Failure to produce the admit card or a valid ID will lead to disqualification.
