‘Sky Force’ directed by Sandeep Kewalani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor was released this year in 2025. Akshay Kumar, Veer Paharia and Sara Ali Khan were in lead roles in this film. The film is said to be inspired by the 1965 India-Pakistan air war and the attack on Sargodha airbase. The story is based on the events leading up to the air strike and the subsequent search for a lost hero, showcasing patriotic fervor and action. Janhvi Kapoor has played the role of Gunjan Saxena in the film. Whereas, Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi have played supporting roles. This film shows a strong desire to do something for the country. The film was directed by Sharan Sharma, which was released in 2020.

In the year 2021, the film ‘Bhuj’ was released under the direction of Abhishek Dudhaiya. The film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is a story set during the India-Pakistan war of 1971. Its story revolves around Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. He takes command of Bhuj Air Force Base and leads a team of 300 local women from Madhapar village and attempts to complete the mission. The film depicts the bravery and determination of the Indian Air Force soldiers during the war. Artists like Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Amy Virk, Ihana Dhillon were seen in this film.

The film pays tribute to the top fighter pilots of the Indian Air Force and showcases their skill, camaraderie and courage in challenging missions to protect the country’s skies.
