Bangladesh took a 1-0 lead in the T20 series. The second match will be played on 1 September.
Bangladesh defeated the Netherlands by 8 wickets in the first T20. Bangladesh chose bowling on Saturday in Sylhet. The Netherlands scored 136 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. Bangladesh achieved target by losing just 2 wickets in 13.3 overs.
For Bangladesh, fast bowler Taskin Ahmed took 4 wickets for 28 runs. At the same time, captain Litton Das won the team by scoring 54 runs off 29 balls. Saif Hasan scored 36 runs off 19 balls.

Slow start of the Netherlands The Dutch team came out to bat first after losing the toss at Sylhet International Stadium. Max O’Dude scored 23 runs off 15 balls, but Vikramjit Singh was dismissed for just 4 off 11 balls. For 7.1 overs, the team lost 2 wickets for just 38 runs.

Bangladesh preparing for Asia Cup The Bangladesh team is playing the series from the Netherlands before the Asia Cup. The second and third T20 matches of the series will be played on 1 and 3 September. On the other hand, Pakistan and Afghanistan teams are participating in the Asia Cup in TRAI series in UAE. Sri Lanka is currently playing a white ball series in Zimbabwe. Team India is not playing any match.
