State Bureau, Patna. JDU has once again taken action against the rebels. On Sunday, five people including its MLA Narendra Kumar Neeraj alias Gopal Mandal were expelled from the party. Apart from Gopal Mandal, the other four people expelled by JDU from the party include former minister Himraj Singh, former legislative councilor Sanjeev Shyam Singh, former MLA Maheshwar Prasad Yadav and Prabhat Kiran of Gaighat. It has been said in their expulsion order that these people were involved in anti-party activities.
It is known that on Saturday, JDU had expelled 11 people including former minister Shailesh Kumar from the party. These include former MLC Sanjay Prasad, former MLA Shyam Bahadur Singh, former MLC Ranvijay Singh, MLA Sudarshan Kumar, Amar Kumar Singh of Sahebpur Kamal, Aasman Parveen, who contested the elections on JDU ticket in 2020, Luv Kumar of Navinagar, Divyanshu Bhardwaj of Motihari, Asha Suman of Kadwa and Vivek Shukla of Jiradei.
It is noteworthy that in this election there are many rebels who are creating trouble for the party candidates. After not getting the ticket from the party, he has reached the public court. The condition of all these parties is the same. Prominent leaders like MLA Gopal Mandal, Irfan Alam, former ministers Jai Kumar Singh and Ritu Jaiswal have entered the field as rebels. Because of such rebels, party candidates were afraid of vote division and defeat.
Talking about Gopal Mandal, he was elected on JDU ticket three times in a row from Gopalpur seat in Bhagalpur district. This time the party gave the ticket to Shailesh Kumar alias Bulo Mandal in his place. Angered by this, Gopal Mandal has joined the independent field. Similarly, former minister Jaikumar Singh has also adopted a rebellious attitude. When the Dinara seat of Rohtas went to Upendra Kushwaha’s party, he contested as an independent. On the other hand, JDU made Kumar Pushpanjay its candidate in place of Sudarshan Kumar from Barbigha in Shekhpura district and Sudarshan Kumar also entered the fray.
