CHHATTISGARH State Cricket Sangh is going to organise the second edition of Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League (CCPL) at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Nava Raipur from June 6 to
June 15.
Opening match of the CCPL Season 2 will be played between defending champions Raipur Rhinos and Bilaspur Bulls on 6th June 6 from 9 pm.
A total of 6 teams which include CCPL-1 winner Raipur Rhinos, Bilaspur Bulls, Bastar Bisons, Raigarh Lions, Rajnandgaon Panthers and Surguja Tigers will be vying for the winner’s trophy. As scheduled, the opening ceremony of CCPL-2025 will be organised on June 6 from 7 pm.
Bollywood’s famous playback singer Shalmali Kholgade will be the special attraction of the function. Shalmali is popular for her hit number Mai Pareshaan, Balam Pichkari, Shuddh Desi Romance, Lat Lag Gayi,
Shaniwar Ratri etc.
Apart from performance by Shalmali Kholgade, other entertainment programmes will be organised.
For the convenience of the spectators, special arrangement of free buses are made from Ghadi Chowk Multilevel Parking to Shaheed Veer Narayan
Singh International Cricket Stadium from June 6 to 15.
‘Pakdo Catch Jeeto Cash’
During the CCPL-2, option of DRS system will be available. Services of BCCI panel umpires will taken for completion of league matches at the eternal level while BCCI panel of anti-corruption officers will monitor any kind of immoral and unethical activities during the league. However, special attraction of the tournament will be the multiple contests for spectators who visit the stadium to watch the game. Spectators can participate in the ‘Pakdo Catch Jeeto Cash’ Contest along with other contests.
