US President Donald Trump has placed India in the list of countries with China and Pakistan where there is illegal smuggling of drugs. This list includes the names of 23 countries, which have been described as a threat to the US.
US President Donald Trump has placed India on the list of countries where drugs are illegally produced and smuggled. Apart from India, these countries include the names of 23 countries including Afghanistan, China and Pakistan. In the ‘Presidential Determination’ presented in the US Parliament on Monday, Trump said that a total of 23 countries have been identified as “major countries involved in illegal drug production and smuggling”. Trump has said that the production and smuggling of chemicals used in the formation of drugs coming from these countries and its manufacture is a big threat to the security of the US and its citizens.
However, according to the department, the name of any country included in the list does not state that the government there is not trying against drugs or is not cooperating with America. The Foreign Department made it clear that this list has been made by looking at geographical, business and economic conditions and many times despite implementing strict and effective laws, drug production and smuggling in some countries do not stop.
Which countries included?
Apart from China and Pakistan, this list includes Afghanistan, Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Myanmar, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Al Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Laos, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Parau and Venezuela. Giving information about the case, the White House has said that President Trump has submitted a list of major countries to Parliament that are responsible for the supply and smuggling of drugs in the US.
5 countries declared failed
The US Foreign Department has reported that out of 23 countries, Afghanistan, Bolivia, Myanmar, Colombia and Venezuela have been described as a country failed to try to make sufficient efforts. These countries have also been appealed to take action against drugs. The department said that the production and smuggling of drugs and chemicals is directly endangered by the US security.
Big charge on China
Trump has said about China in the ‘Presidency Determination’ that its role is clear as the “world’s largest source” of the chemicals that make fantanelle. He alleged that China is a major supplier promoting many dangerous narcotics, including Knightzen and Methmfetamine. Trump said that if the Chinese government wants to reduce the supply of these chemicals and make them easily providing the criminals can take strong and constant action to prosecute them. Trump also said that Beijing should do so.
