Digital Desk, Bilaspur. In Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, several vehicles were buried in the rubble due to cloudburst in the early hours of Saturday and the fields were damaged.
Officials said about the disaster that there was no report of any casualties in it. The cloudburst occurred in Gutrahan village of Naina Devi assembly constituency in Namhol area. In this regard, a villager Kashmir Singh said that the water flowing with debris was shattered on agricultural land. The water flowing with the debris took away the agricultural land.
Yellow alert of heavy rain
Meanwhile, the capital Shimla was covered in the capital on Saturday morning, which reduced the visibility to a few meters and faced inconvenience to people from vehicles during school. The local Meteorological Department has also released a yellow alert of heavy rains in different parts of the state on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 503 roads including Attari-Leh Marg (National Highway-3), Aut-Sainge Marg (NH-305) and Amritsar-Bhota Marg (NH-503A) were closed for traffic on Friday evening.
According to the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), about 953 power transformers and 336 water supply schemes have been disrupted in the state due to the recent floods and landslides.
386 people died so far
On June 20, a total of 386 people have died in rain -related incidents and road accidents from the beginning of the monsoon to September 12 in the state. Out of these 386 people, 218 died in rain -related incidents, while 168 were killed in road accidents.
