Ujjwal Nikam said, ‘I want to say only one thing. The blast took place on 12 March. A day before this, the van reached his (Sanjay Dutt) house. She was laden with arms hand grenade, AK 47. Abu Salem brought him. Sanjay lifted some hand grenades and guns.
Famous lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, who is preparing to go to Rajya Sabha, has made a big claim about the Mumbai blasts. He said that if the actor had given information about the vehicle laden with weapons, then the serial blasts in Mumbai could have been postponed. In 1993, 267 people died in the blasts in Mumbai, called the financial capital of the country.
In a conversation with NDTV, Nikam said, ‘I want to say only one thing. The blast took place on 12 March. A day before this, the van reached his (Sanjay Dutt) house. She was laden with arms hand grenade, AK 47. Abu Salem brought him. Sanjay lifted some hand grenades and guns. After this, he returned everything and kept only one AK 47. ‘
The lawyer said, “If he had made the police home at that time, the police would investigate and the Mumbai blasts would never happen.” Nikam said that he had also told Dutt’s lawyer about this that AK 47 did not walk and it is one thing to be near, but due to not being told to the police on his behalf, there was a blast and many people died.
Nikam told the channel that Sanjay Dutt was then innocent and took up arms due to attraction towards guns. He said, ‘He has committed a crime in the eyes of the law, but he is a straight person…. I consider them innocent. ‘
The court acquitted Dutt in the TADA case, but was found guilty under the Arms Act. The Supreme Court later reduced his 6 -year sentence to 5 years. Dutt was lodged in Yerwara Jail in Pune, Maharashtra during this period.
What happened to Sanjay Dutt
Nikam says that Sanjay Dutt suffered a major setback after being found guilty under the Arms Act. He said, ‘I saw his body language changing. I realized that they had shocked. He was unable to bear the decision and looked nervous.
In a conversation with the channel, Nikam also revealed ‘Raj’. He said, ‘I told Sanjay not to do this. The media is watching you. You are an actor. If you look scared of punishment, then people will consider you guilty. You have a chance to appeal. On this, he said yes sir.
