When will this movie come in OTT? The fans were waiting for that. Recently Jio Hotstar has released an official statement putting a full stop to their expectations. It is said that it will be streaming from October 31 (kotha lokah ott release date). It has released a poster stating that it will be streaming in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi as well as Bengali and Marathi.

Chandra alias Neeli (Kalyani Priyadarshan) has supernatural powers. In a mission, she narrowly escapes from enemies. With this, Chandra shifts from Sweden to Bangalore and works in a cafe without anyone knowing about her. Her next-door neighbor Sunny (Naslane) befriends her. On the other hand, Inspector Nachiyappa Gowda (Sandy Master), his boss, deals in human organ smuggling. Nachiyappa gets suspicious of Chandra, who has accidentally lost his temper. And what did he do after that? Who is Chandra? Why is Sunny so scared of her? is the story of the film.

This movie collected more than Rs.300 crore worldwide. Moreover, it also created a record as the first Malayali film to earn the highest gross. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, ‘L2: Empuran’ was the highest-grossing film in Malayalam so far (Rs. 265.5 crores). ‘Kotthaloka’ broke that record. Directed by Dominic Arun, this movie was made with a budget of just Rs.30 crores.
