At the same time, torrential rains in Ambedkaranagar have caused waterlogging in many areas of the city. Akbarpur recorded 94 mm of rainfall, causing water to enter the old cities and market shops and caused heavy losses to the traders. At the same time, Aliganj Center in Lucknow also recorded 88 mm of rain. On the other hand, rivers in eastern Uttar Pradesh are flowing close to the danger mark. The Saryu river in Ayodhya is flowing above the danger mark, while the Rapti River in Gorakhpur and the Gandak River in Kushinagar have also reached above the warning point, which has increased the risk of floods.
