New UPI Rules from 1 August: 1 अगस्त से UPI में तीन बड़े बदलाव, बार-बार बैलेंस चेक करने वालों को टेंशन होगी

From 1 August 2025, many major changes are going to happen in UPI (New UPI Rules from 1 August). If the limit to check the balance will be limited to a half -century, then the payment of the payment will not be done before 90 seconds.

The users can check their account balance only 50 times a day per UPI app.

There will be three changes in UPI from 1 August

The 30 or 31st date comes every month. Then the new month starts. The same will happen this month. There are just two days left in 31 July. After this, 1 August will come. But this one is going to be a little different August 1 because from 1 August 2025, there are many major changes in UPI (New UPI Rules from 1 August). Although it has been talked about before them, but know once again. What happened, no one is sitting a story meter. If something like this is coming in your mind, then it is UPI. Everything is fantasy here.

‘Check’ on balance check

From 1 August 2025, users will now be able to check the balance only 50 times with one UPI app in a day. If you use two apps, then you can do this 50 times separately. If you want information about balance more times, then you have to turn to your bank app. NPCI says that the UPI system is getting a lot of load, especially peak hours (between 10 am to 1 pm and 5 to 9:30 pm). The system slows down by checking the balance or checking transaction status. If you think who checks the balance so many times, then small shopkeepers like tea and vegetable sellers have to do this.

Also read: After the scan from UPI, the money was deducted, but the person in front did not get, now this money will return immediately!

Autope payments will be half manual

There will be no change in the limit and process of autope mandates. Mane, you can give access to your account to do any number of services, but now its payment will change. Now the money will not be deducted from your account between the peak hours i.e. 10 to the afternoon 1 and 5 to 9:30 pm. These payments will be processed only in non-peak hours. Meaning auto-pay transactions, such as Netflix subscription, app subscription or EMI money will not be deducted in peak hours.

Transaction status check limit

If a payment gets stuck, then you can check its status only 3 times, that too after a interval of 90 seconds. It is not new to get stuck of payment while transacting with UPI. If this happens from further, the API calls to check the status will be closed. Users will not immediately know whether the payment is successful or not. It will take 90 seconds.

The purpose of all three changes is to reduce the pressure on the UPI system. For your information, let us know that in the months of April and March this year, crores of users had trouble due to upi down.
