The monsoon has started returning from the western part but its speed has slowed down due to cyclonic activities. After the rains in Rajasthan and Gujarat, the Meteorological Department announced a comeback, but the low pressure made in the Bay of Bengal and central India has stopped the monsoon. It is estimated that the monsoon return will be rapid after 20 September.
Jagran Bureau, New Delhi. Contrary to the forecast, the return of monsoon has started from the western part of the country, but due to cyclonic activities, the pace of its return has stopped. After the monsoon rains in some districts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had also announced a return return, but despite this, the lower pressure and cyclonic system made in the Bay of Bengal and Central India have stopped the monsoon.
Western winds are gradually weakening it, causing light rain to continue in the northwest states, while the monsoon is still active with full force in eastern and north-eastern parts. However, after September 20, the return of the monsoon will move rapidly and in the next three to four weeks it will leave the whole country.
Light rain estimated in Delhi-NCR on 18-19 September
Light rain is expected in Delhi-NCR till the night of 18 September and 19 mornings. According to Skymet, the monsoon farewell to Delhi is till 25 September, but this time can be removed only by 20-21 September due to the lack of moisture and the effect of western winds. Many districts of Punjab-Haryana may also have light rain on September 18-19. Then the pace of returning from here will also intensify.
Monsoon has been bid farewell to many districts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, but due to the activation of the new weather system, there is a possibility of rain for two days. If we look at the situation across the country, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Due to the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there will be strong rainfall in these states for a few days.

Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana and many parts of Maharashtra may receive good rainfall for the next few days.
