According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain activities are likely to continue for the next 4 to 5 days. At the same time, heavy rains may occur at some places in western Rajasthan, according to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, there may be very heavy rains in Jaipur, Dausa and Tonk in the state today. Apart from this, there is a alert of heavy rains in other districts as well.

Due to heavy rains in the last 48 hours, there has been a strong arrival of water in the dams of the state. Due to this, gates of more than 30 dams have to be opened. 1,38,750 cusecs of water is being released by opening 5 gates of Jawahar Sagar Dam. According to the report of the Water Resources Department, 254 cusecs of water has come in the dams on Thursday due to heavy rains on Wednesday. Out of small and medium sized dams of the state, 44 dams have been completely filled, while 408 dams have been partially filled.
