At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain in 9 districts of the state from October 27.
A continuous decline in temperature is being recorded in many areas of Rajasthan. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in many cities including Karauli, Jalore, Ganganagar, Barmer, Bhilwara, Ajmer has gone down by 1 to 1.5 degrees.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 13 degrees in Sikar, 13.7 degrees in Dausa, 14.4 degrees in Nagaur and 19.2 degrees Celsius in Jaipur. At present, maximum coldness is being felt in Sikar and Dausa.
The weather remains clear and normal due to bright sunshine during the day. Barmer was the hottest city in the state on Saturday, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Jaisalmer was 36.5 degrees Celsius and in Bikaner it was 35.5 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather trend will change once again in Rajasthan from October 27. Thunderstorm alert has been issued in 9 districts of Udaipur and Kota divisions. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in these areas between October 26 and 28.
Director of Meteorological Center, Jaipur, Radheshyam Sharma said that at present three major meteorological systems are active.
1. Depression System in Arabian Sea,
2. Low-pressure system in south-eastern Bay of Bengal, and
3. Western Disturbance active in North-West India from 26-27 October.
The combined effect of these three systems will see weather changes in the south-eastern and central parts of the state.
According to Sharma, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in Udaipur, Kota, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Jhalawar, Baran, Bundi and Dungarpur districts between October 26 and 28.
During this period, strong winds may blow at some places and there is a possibility of light storm in some areas.
A further drop in night temperatures may be recorded in Rajasthan in the coming days. Due to the effect of north-westerly winds, the difference in day and night temperatures will increase. Meteorologists believe that the effects of winter will start being felt in the entire state from the last week of October.
This change in weather is a relief news for the farmers preparing for Rabi crops. Light rain will increase moisture in the fields, which will create suitable conditions for sowing of wheat, gram and mustard. However, there may still be a possibility of damage due to strong wind or lightning.
Now the weather in Rajasthan is moving towards winter. Rain and thunderstorms are expected to begin in many parts of the state from October 27. For now, the day will be sunny but the nights will become cold. The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert and keep an eye on weather updates.
