On Tuesday, the actress took to her Instagram handle and dropped a video featuring her latest diary entry. “Dear Diary, Today I started something new and I can’t wait to share the story with you,” she wrote in her diary.
Along with the video, the actress penned down a note and shared that she is excited to reveal “something special” soon. “You know that feeling when your heart is racing, your hands are shaking, and your cheeks hurt from smiling?? Yeah… that’s me right now…Because something very, very special is on its way,” she wrote.
While it remains unclear what the special news is that Rashmika is eager to share, netizens think that she might finally announce her relationship with Vijay Deverakonda. Soon after the post was shared, several users rushed to the comments section and wrote, “Rashmika Deverakonda soon?”
Interestingly, this comes days after Vijay Deverakonda shared why he consciously guards his private world even after previously admitting he’s in a relationship. “I’ve always felt like it’s a strange split, you want to be an actor and be known by the world, but you also want to remain anonymous. It’s some kind of psychotic dichotomy,” he told The Hollywood Reporter India.
The actor went on to say that if he could create a fictional version of himself and keep his real identity hidden, he would. “I used to tell people that if I could wear a mask that didn’t look like me, and that guy could be the star while I still got to act, I’d be happy. Because for me, Vijay Deverakonda the actor, I operate for him,” he explained.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika was last seen in Sikandar opposite Salman Khan. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is now streaming on Netflix.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in Kingdom, a spy thriller helmed by Jersey director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film, initially scheduled for July 4, 2025, is now expected to release on July 25, 2025.
