The National Income and Qualification Based Scholarship Examination will be held on 9 November for the students of the council state aided schools of Meerut. Online applications for session 2026-27 will be accepted by 24 September. For this examination, students are eligible who have secured 55% marks in class seven and whose annual income is less than Rs 3.5 lakh. Apply on the website www.entdata.co.in.

The program of National Income and Qualification Based Scholarship Scheme Examination has been released for students of schools run by council, state, aided and local bodies. The application portal for the examination to be held on November 9 for the session 2026-27 has been activated.
Students can apply online by 24 September. This examination will be conducted in all the districts of the state. Applications can be made only on the website www.entdata.co.in. Applications sent through post or any other means will not be accepted.
Some qualifications for the application in this examination are already determined. For this, students can apply for students who have passed class seven in session 2024-25 and have secured at least 55 percent marks (50 percent for Scheduled Castes and Tribes).
Those students who are studying in class VIII in the school, non-government aided school or local body (council) school in session 2025-26 can apply for this scholarship examination.
Children whose annual income of parents does not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh will be eligible for application. Students should also keep in mind that students studying in private schools, Sainik Schools, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas and Residential Schools for application in this examination are not eligible and cannot join this scheme. There is no fee for this exam.
This scholarship scheme is very helpful for economically weak but meritorious students. Eligible students can appear in this examination and get financial support for further studies. Therefore, all interested students must apply online by 24 September in time.
Applications will be online only. While filling the application form, read all the instructions to the students carefully. Detailed information and instructions related to the exam should be kept on the website from time to time.
Keep this necessary papers at the time of application
- -It is mandatory to upload a scan copy of these certificates while applying for the online.
- -Income certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or other competent officer.
- -Caste certificate, if students are from SC, ST or OBC class.
- -Devyangata certificate, if the students are particularly competent ie Divyang.
- -A copy of the Aadhaar card will also have to be uploaded.
Note: If a student does not upload this certificate then the application will be considered incomplete.
