Hyderabad: The water was alerted in the wake of heavy rains in the city. Officials were alerted by Jalamandali MD Ashok Reddy. He also instructed that all precautionary measures should be taken to prevent the public. Emergency Response Teams (ERT) and SPT vehicles are advised to be vigilant. Man Holes, which are often overflow, should be identified and prevention measures. The teams were ordered to pay special attention to the areas where water stopped.

Ashok Reddy advised the authorities to monitor the field with a 24 -hour staff. MD Ashok Reddy has ordered the setting up of warning boards near man holes in the affected areas and to ensure that there are sewerage supervisors. The officials of the GHMC, Hydra and Police Departments are advised to coordinate the ERT and SPT. Jalamandali MD Ashok Reddy suggested that the people of the city should not open the manhole lids under any circumstances.
